We're looking for an experienced Staff Development Engineer to join our ZPA engineering team reporting to the Manager, Software Development Engineering. You'll be responsible for:

• Collaborating with teams during design, and maintaining cloud-based software solutions
• Testing at scale, with proficiency in coding using Python to automate testing. Take ownership of diagnosing and resolving customer issues, including recreating production issues and providing necessary workarounds for resolution
• Providing insights to the development team to enhance the debug feature of the product
• Developing and maintaining robust and scalable test automation frameworks for our cloud security products
• Integrating the automated API into CI/CD system (Jenkins/Gitlab)

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Must have 6+ years of overall experience in Python programming
• Experience building tools and utilities to support the testing and development process, improving efficiency and productivity
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for test automation
• Experienced in automation framework development (Preferably PyTest) & test automation
• Proficient experience in Linux/Unix working environment

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with designing and implementing enterprise-grade Security or Networking products
• Knowledge/Proficiency in AI code assists (Preferably Gemini code assist)
• Debugging skills in a complex Network/Cloud Infrastructure/HTTP/HTTPs/TLS issues in customer environments
