Job Summary:
Siebel Designer with strong Telecom BSS experience in providing scalable, high-performing CRM solutions. This role demands collaborate closely with stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to translate business needs into robust designs across Siebel modules like Order Management, Product & Pricing, Service Assurance, and Customer Management, ensuring alignment with industry standards and enhancing customer experience.
Required Skill Set:
- Proven experience working with Siebel CRM in the Telecommunications industry, with a strong understanding of telecom business processes (e.g., Siebel Order Management, Product & Pricing Assurances and Siebel Communications).
- Deep understanding of Siebel architecture, data model, configuration, and customization capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions; impact analysis and proper solution documentation.
- Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, problem-solving, alignment of business and technical teams
- Technical Proficiency in Siebel Tools, Siebel Configuration (e.g., Business Components, Applets, Views), Workflow Designer, Assignment Manager and Siebel scripting (eScript)
- Solid understanding of integration technologies and concepts (e.g., Rest, Web Services, APIs, EAI).
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of hands-on Siebel CRM experience, includes 7+ years in development and min of 3+ years in solution design, with at least 4 years in the Telecom domain.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to propose solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals and work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Good to have Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Role & responsibilities
Solution Design: Design end-to-end Siebel CRM solutions for Telecom BSS, including workflows, data models, and integrations. Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.
Gather Requirements: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements. Translate business needs into practical, efficient Siebel designs and implementation plans.
Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, data mappings and integration mappings.
Guide Development: Lead and support developers on Siebel customizations, workflows, business services, and scripting. Ensure solutions follow best practices and maintain high quality.
Product Modeling: Design telecom products, bundles, pricing, discounts in Siebel CRM and alignment ensuring with business requirements.
Industry Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest Siebel CRM features, functionalities, and industry best practices, particularly within the Telecommunications sector.
Collaboration: Work closely with Solution Architects, business analysts, developers and QA Team to ensure successful delivery.
Technical Proficiency in latest Siebel Tools, Siebel Configuration (e.g., Business Components, Applets, Views), Workflow Designer, Assignment Manager and Siebel scripting (eScript)
