Position Overview:
The QC Head at Peejay Max oversees the entire Quality Control department, ensuring that all materials and products meet the company's high standards. This leadership role involves supervising the QC Engineer, QC Analyst (Physical Test), and Research Analyst (Chemical Test), while ensuring that testing processes, quality certifications, and compliance with industry standards are consistently maintained. The QC Head is also responsible for implementing continuous improvement initiatives and managing customer-related quality concerns.
Reporting to: Managing Director
Reported by: QC Engineer, QC Analyst, Research Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all activities in the QC department, including physical and chemical testing, quality certifications, and project coordination.
- Provide leadership and direction to the QC Engineer, QC Analyst (Physical Test), and Research Analyst (Chemical Test).
- Ensure all materials and products meet industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Source and procure the necessary chemicals and testing equipment, ensuring timely availability and quality.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure that all supplies meet the required specifications.
- Maintain compliance with ISO standards and ensure all audits are passed with no major non-conformities.
- Supervise the certification of test results for incoming raw materials, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards.
- Approve final product certifications and ensure that all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Lead innovation and optimization initiatives in quality testing and material performance to enhance product quality.
- Implement best practices and introduce new methodologies to improve testing accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement and monitor safety procedures for handling hazardous chemicals, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Oversee the management and resolution of customer complaints related to material quality.
- Provide technical support to resolve issues and prevent future occurrences both through calls and direct visits as and when required.
- Ensure the team is continuously trained on the latest testing procedures and industry standards.
- Conduct technical training sessions for the sales and operations teams, keeping them updated on quality processes and product features.
- Collaborate with the operations department to ensure smooth integration of materials into production.
- Act as the primary point of contact for ISO audits and other regulatory inspections.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is maintained and all internal systems are audited regularly to meet compliance standards.
Skills & Competence Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- Master's Degree / Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
Candidates from Kerala preferred, Malayalam Mandatory. Other state people are also preferred but should be fluent in malayalam. Hindi is an added advantage.
Salary & Benefits
Upto 8,00,000 Per annum ; CTC Rs ; Take home Rs.50,000 pm
