Role Overview
:

The PR – Branch Head will be a senior leadership role responsible for end-to-end management of the branch, including P&L ownership, revenue growth, client success, team leadership, and brand reputation management.

This role requires a seasoned PR professional with strong business acumen, deep media relationships, and proven experience in scaling teams and managing profitability.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. P&L & Business Management

  • Own and manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the branch.

  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and cost optimization.

  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

  • Monitor margins, billing efficiency, and operational costs.

  • Identify new revenue streams, services, and expansion opportunities.

2. Strategic Leadership & Branch Operations

  • Lead the branch as a business unit head.

  • Define long-term PR and communication strategy aligned with company goals.

  • Set branch-level targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.

  • Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing PR team.

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day branch operations.

3. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Drive new business development and key account acquisition.

  • Manage and nurture relationships with marquee clients.

  • Lead client pitches, strategy presentations, and contract negotiations.

  • Ensure high client satisfaction, retention, and account growth.

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

4. Media Relations & Brand Reputation

  • Maintain strong relationships with top-tier journalists, editors, and media houses.

  • Oversee press coverage, media strategy, and thought leadership initiatives.

  • Act as senior spokesperson when required.

  • Lead crisis communication and reputation management efforts.

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.

5. Governance, Reporting & Compliance

  • Review PR performance reports, media coverage analysis, and ROI.

  • Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and industry standards.

  • Coordinate with Head Office and other branch heads.

  • Represent the branch in leadership reviews and strategic meetings.

Requirements / Eligibility

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.

Experience

  • 15–20 years of experience in PR, Corporate Communications, or Media Relations.

  • Minimum 7–10 years in a senior leadership / business head role.

  • Proven experience in P&L management and revenue ownership.

  • Experience handling large teams, big-budget accounts, and enterprise clients.
