Job Description

  • Able to operate various lab instruments and equipment.
  • Explains and demonstrates how to operate instruments to students, faculty, etc.

  • Keeps records on instrument usage, service repairs, and maintenance manuals.

  • Enhances laboratory and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Duties include processing samples, classifying results, and recording findings by following strict safety procedures and conduct safety checks required

  • Operate and manage scientific equipment and/or scientific processes in support of others' research or teaching.

  • Responsible for the use and management of laboratory space, collect and analyse data.
  • Overall responsibility to maintain & service the equipment to the operational standards

Key Skills: To handle

  • GCMS, NMR, BET Equipment, CHNS Analyser, Fluorescence Spectrophotometer, TEM, X-ray Diffractometer, TGA, FT IR, UV-VIS-NIR, HRMS, VSM etc.,
