Position - P&I Claims Executive/Officer Responsibilities and duties You shall:

  • Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations;
  • Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies;
  • Propose a continuous performance improvement plan which will be reported and reviewed on a periodical basis;
  • Manage all crew related P&I Claims, for CCISC;
  • Inform relevant P&I clubs, Payroll and P&I Claims Officer and legal department of all new cases;
  • Follow crew members medical care, hospitalization and repatriation;
  • Ensure: o Monitoring of the crew's condition through Master/Agent when injury/sickness occur; o Regular contact with Recruitment and Placement Providers and sub- contractors; o Claims are not fraudulent; o

That incidents are appropriately addressed; o Liaison between company Doctors and local clinics for Pre-existing conditions decision process; o That the accounting manager is informed of the cost per claim;

  • Calculate all sick pay;
  • Audit periodically the clinical centers as and when required;
  • Collect all invoices for submission to P&I Clubs for reimbursements;
  • Follow up the P&I Club reimbursement;
  • Participate in the annual review of the "Enhanced pre-Employment Medical Examination";
  • Propose new clinical centers to MHRD;
  • Do reporting and KPIs, claims analysis on a weekly and monthly basis;
  • Arrange medical assessment for Singapore flag's seafarers, if they opt to claim under WICA (Work Injury Compensation Act);
  • Carry out all others works in accordance with qualification and knowledge.

Minimum qualifications

  • Competent with various software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc…
  • Fluent in English;
  • Bachelor's degree.

Experience

  • 3 years' experience in maritime industry.
