Role Overview
As a Trainee Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of our resort, ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive. This role offers hands-on training in front desk operations, guest communication, and hospitality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Assist with check-in/check-out procedures using our booking system
- Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Maintain front desk cleanliness and readiness
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for guest requests
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Learn and follow resort policies, safety protocols, and service standards
Skills & Attributes
- Friendly, courteous, and well-groomed demeanor
- Strong communication skills in English and local languages
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, booking software)
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
- Ability to handle guest concerns with patience and professionalism
Qualifications
- Minimum: SSLC or PUC (12th standard)
- Hospitality or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Freshers welcome—training will be provided
