An ITI student specializing in Electrical trades can find entry-level positions focused on installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems. They will assist senior technicians and engineers, learn to interpret technical drawings, and ensure safety compliance. Key tasks include assisting with electrical installations, assembling mechanical components, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting basic issues.

Electrical:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Assisting in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Helping to diagnose and resolve electrical issues under supervision.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring all work is performed according to safety regulations and protocols.
  • Component Assembly: Assembling electrical components and panels.
  • Documenting Work: Maintaining records of work completed and materials used.
  • Following Instructions: Following technical diagrams and blueprints for electrical installations.

General Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Senior Technicians: Working under the guidance of experienced professionals.
  • Learning and Development: Participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with other team members to complete projects.
  • Problem Solving: Contributing to the resolution of technical issues.
  • Adaptability: Being flexible and willing to learn new skills and procedures.
