Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Registrar in General Surgery to join our surgical team. The Registrar will assist in surgical procedures, manage pre- and post-operative patient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality treatment outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Assist consultants and senior surgeons in general surgery procedures, ensuring optimal patient care throughout.
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient assessments, diagnosis, and follow-up treatment plans.
- Participate in daily rounds and maintain thorough medical records.
- Liaise with consultants, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Provide emergency surgical support, triage, and manage trauma cases in the department.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous education programs.
Requirements
- Educational Qualification: MBBS with a postgraduate qualification in General Surgery (MS/DNB).
- Experience: Minimum of [0-3] years of relevant experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical techniques, procedures, and patient management.
- Excellent clinical skills with a focus on precision and patient safety.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage emergency cases.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
