The Director / Senior Director – Delivery will lead strategic client delivery initiatives across Cloud Engineering and Digital Engineering services for U.S.-based enterprise clients. This role requires a strong delivery leader who can drive large-scale technology transformation programs, manage multi-disciplinary global teams, and build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in IT services delivery, strong understanding of modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), digital engineering practices, and the ability to orchestrate global delivery teams to deliver consistent business value.
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary delivery leader for multiple strategic U.S. clients across industries, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction.
 - Own end-to-end delivery for programs in Cloud Engineering, Application Modernization, and Digital Product Development.
 - Partner with client executives (CIOs, CTOs, Engineering Heads) to align delivery outcomes with strategic business objectives.
 - Proactively manage delivery risks, escalations, and communications with transparency and accountability.
 - Drive continuous engagement and relationship growth with key U.S. client stakeholders.
 
Operational Excellence & Delivery Governance
- Lead globally distributed delivery teams across the U.S., India, and other geographies, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
 - Oversee project governance, delivery metrics, financial performance, and resource optimization across portfolios.
 - Ensure adherence to delivery frameworks, SLAs, and compliance standards.
 - Drive operational improvements through agile methodologies, DevOps adoption, and automation.
 - Maintain focus on delivery predictability, quality, and profitability.
 
Cloud & Digital Engineering Leadership
- Oversee delivery of modern engineering solutions leveraging cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, and containerized deployments.
 - Collaborate with solution and architecture teams to ensure technical excellence and innovation in delivery.
 - Stay current with emerging trends in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), digital product engineering, and AI-driven delivery automation.
 - Guide clients through modernization journeys—application replatforming, refactoring, and migration to the cloud.
 
People & Global Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing delivery and program management teams across onshore and offshore centers.
 - Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across global delivery hubs.
 - Work closely with talent management to ensure right-shore staffing, capability development, and succession planning.
 
Business Partnership & Growth Enablement
- Collaborate with sales, solutioning, and account management teams to drive growth in existing and new accounts.
 - Participate in strategic pursuits, proposal development, and client presentations.
 - Identify and develop opportunities for account expansion in digital, data, and cloud service areas.
 - Provide executive-level reporting and insights on delivery health, client satisfaction, and business performance.
 
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
 - Minimum 18+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in digital/cloud delivery leadership.
 - Proven success managing enterprise-scale Cloud, AI, and Platform Engineering programs.
 - Experience with U.S. clients across Telecom, BFSI, Manufacturing, or Healthcare domains.
 - Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence.
 - Strong background in Cloud Engineering (AWS / Azure / GCP) and Digital Engineering services delivery.
 - Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar portfolios and global distributed teams (300+ people).
 - Track record of managing enterprise clients in the U.S. and building trusted executive relationships.
 - Strong grasp of agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
 - Experience with managed services and project-based delivery models.
