About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Junior Software Developer to join our growing team at edexe learning. This role is ideal for candidates who have a strong foundation in software development and are eager to build their skills while contributing to real-world projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications.

  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.

  • Work closely with senior developers to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.

  • Debug, test, and troubleshoot applications to ensure quality and performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and deployment of software solutions.

  • Continuously learn and stay updated with new technologies to support the team.

Requirements

  • Education: MCA, M.Sc. Computer Science, or B.Tech in Computer Science/IT (or equivalent).

  • Familiarity with Laravel framework and PHP development.

  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  • Understanding of databases such as MySQL.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to learn.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).

  • Familiarity with REST APIs and integration.

  • Exposure to other PHP frameworks or modern JavaScript frameworks.
