Job Description

Position: Data Quality Engineer

Experience: 9 Years -12 Years

Location: Noida

Role Overview:

We are looking for one Data Quality Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Data quality frameworks, validation processes, and monitoring solutions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of enterprise data.

This role collaborates closely with Data Architects, Data stewards, and Data Governance teams to automate data validation, resolve data anomalies, and build trust in Data products.

Experience:

  1. 9+ years of experience in design and implement data quality frameworks to assess data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and validity.
  2. Strong experience of defining, documenting, and managing Data quality rules, metrics, and thresholds for key data domains
  3. Strong experience of implementing automated validation and reconciliation processes across source and target systems

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provides operational monitoring and reporting on data quality through tools and indicators
  2. Onboards Data products
  3. Supports users in ensuring consistency, facilitating adoption and maintaining features backlog
  4. Configures quality rules, manages dashboards/KPIs, and runs monitoring checks
  5. Supports governance officers with indicators
  6. Automates checks

Required Skills:

Technical:

  1. Strong expertise in Snowflake
  2. Good Knowledge of SQL, and Data testing
  3. In-depth knowledge of Data Governance, Sifflets,Data Quality, and MDM frameworks
  4. Experience of working with Python

Professional Competencies:

  1. Act as an advisor to Data Architects, Data Governance Officers, Data Product Owners and Managers
  2. Excellent documentation skills, Strong stakeholder management and Communication skills
Qualifications

BE / B.Tech/ MS/ M.Tech/ MCA
