Garment Manufacturing Unit Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly responsible and proactive Garment Manufacturing Unit Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations within our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth handling of cloth inwarding, inventory management, workforce supervision, attendance tracking, and adherence to production timelines. The role requires someone who can lead by example, motivate team members, and enforce discipline to meet productivity and quality targets consistently.

Key Responsibilities:1. Cloth Inward & Inventory Management

• Supervise the inwarding process of cloth materials ensuring accurate documentation and quality verification.
• Maintain proper storage and handling to prevent material damage and wastage.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams to avoid shortages or excesses.
• Implement systematic stock audits and maintain records to ensure accountability.

2. People Management & Attendance

• Lead, manage, and support the factory workforce to achieve production goals.
• Ensure timely attendance and punctuality of all employees.
• Conduct regular attendance tracking and escalate irregularities as needed.
• Address employee grievances promptly and maintain a healthy working environment.

3. Motivation & Team Building

• Inspire and encourage team members to achieve targets through positive reinforcement.
• Conduct periodic team meetings to communicate expectations, goals, and feedback.
• Identify training needs and coordinate skill development initiatives.
• Build a culture of discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

4. Timelines & Commitment Enforcement

• Ensure strict adherence to production schedules and delivery timelines.
• Monitor daily operations and take proactive measures to resolve bottlenecks or delays.
• Report on performance metrics and highlight areas requiring immediate intervention.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.

• Diploma or degree in Textile Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, or related field.
