Job Description Digital Marketing Specialist (Education Industry)Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist with proven expertise in promoting schools/educational institutions. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in or for schools (K-12, international, or higher education) and should be skilled in managing admissions-driven campaigns, social media, and parent engagement. Candidates with experience only in edtech or unrelated industries will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Admissions Marketing
  • Plan and execute digital campaigns aligned with the schools admission cycle.
  • Drive targeted lead-generation campaigns via Google Ads, Meta Ads, and local SEO.
  • Digital Presence & Branding
  • Manage the school website and optimize for local SEO searches like Best School near Indira Nagar.
  • Build engaging social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) focusing on parents and students.
  • Content & Communication
  • Develop brochures, newsletters, admission reminders, and alumni/student success stories.
  • Create creatives and short videos for admissions and events.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Track inquiries, leads, and enrollment conversions using CRM/ERP tools.
  • Monitor campaign performance (CPL, CTR, ROI) and share monthly reports.
  • Community Engagement
  • Manage online parent groups and reputation across digital platforms.
  • Respond to parent/student queries in a timely and professional manner.
Required Skills & Competencies:
  • 35 years of digital marketing experience in schools/colleges (education industry only).
  • Strong knowledge of admissions marketing, lead generation, and local SEO.
  • Expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Analytics, and CRM integration.
  • Excellent communication and content creation skills (visual + written).
  • Ability to work closely with the admissions team during peak admission seasons.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent.
  • Prior experience with K-12 or international schools in Bangalore preferred.
  • Knowledge of school ERP/CRM systems.
