Job Summary:
As a Senior Power Electronics Engineer at Discrete Circuits Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in the
design, development, and implementation of power electronics solutions. This position requires a
deep understanding of various topologies in power electronics, also circuits like inverters, converters,
and switch mode power supplies, as well as the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development: - Lead the design, simulations and development of power electronics systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. - Perform detailed analysis, simulation, and testing of power electronics circuits and systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and firmware engineers, to integrate power electronics into overall system architecture.
Technical Leadership: - Provide technical leadership to the power electronics engineering team, guiding and mentoring junior engineers. - Contribute to the development of engineering best practices and standards within the organization. - Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in power electronics and related fields.
Testing and Validation: - Develop and execute test plans to validate the performance and reliability of power electronics systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to power electronics during testing and integration phases. - Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet stringent quality standards.
Documentation: - Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, schematics, and design documents. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.
Collaboration and Communication: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications. - Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineering teams, and executives. - Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and customers as needed.
