Senior Internal Auditor (Finance & SOX)

Our site in Pune, India is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor (Finance & SOX) to join our team.  This role will support Entegris' global SOX program, operational audits, and internal control reviews across finance and business functions. You will work closely with US-based leaders and global process owners. Reports to: Senior Manager – Internal Audit (US or Malaysia)

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and execute SOX, financial, and operational audits.
  • Perform risk assessments and evaluate control design & operating effectiveness.
  • Conduct SOX testing and walkthroughs with control owners.
  • Review and validate financial & business process controls.
  • Analyze audit evidence and prepare audit working papers.
  • Draft audit reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Support external auditor requests and internal audit planning.
  • Partner with business teams across regions to drive control improvements.

What We Seek:

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (mandatory).
  • 5 to 7+ years' experience in internal/external audit.
  • Experience with SOX / internal controls / ICFR.
  • Preferred background: Big-4 or Internal Audit in MNC.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A, inventory, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work with global cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel.
  ​​​​​​Preferred Qualifications
  • CA / CPA / ACCA / CIA / CFE (completed or pursuing).
  • Experience auditing manufacturing/technology companies.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, audit tools, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
