Job Description for Operation Solution Role:

We need manager / assistant manager who can help us build better products in focused functional / domain areas such as mutual fund, post trade settlements and who bring in global capital market knowledge.

Objectives of this role

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (such as, GIFT IFSC, AMFI, SEBI, RTAs, DPs) to analyse needs and align product roadmap based on regulatory initiatives and defined roadmap
  • Work closely with project managers and technical teams to create and maintain product backlog, according to business value or ROI
  • Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog
  • Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure theyre clearly understood by relevant stakeholders (viz., technology, regulators, internal policy group)
  • Liaise with technology teams and other functions to provide accurate and timely data requests from SEBI and bring resolution to regulatory queries
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
  • Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
  • Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions

Required skills and qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in product development
  • Understanding of post trade settlement and mutual fund specific domain and functions
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders.

Essential:

  • Functional knowledge of Mutual Fund and/or Post-trade settlements
  • Knowledge and work experience in Agile/Waterfall Software development methodology
  • Experienced in creating BRD / PRD documentation
  • Hands-on experience with handling data requests
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
