Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior Java Developer

with 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend development. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable applications, driving product improvements, and mentoring other developers while maintaining strong coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

● Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code with a strong focus on performance and reliability

● Be hands-on and
deliver production-ready code quickly

while maintaining quality

● Take ownership of modules and ensure timely execution and deployment of technical solutions

● Understand, maintain, and improve existing codebases

● Proactively manage and
reduce technical debt

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams for technical planning, estimation, and documentation

● Review code, suggest improvements, and help raise the team's technical bar

● Guide and support team members on technologies, frameworks, and best practices

Technical Requirements:

● 
6+ years

of backend development experience using
Java

● Expertise in
Spring Boot

,
Spring MVC

,
Hibernate

, and
Play Framework

● Strong knowledge of
SQL

databases like
PostgreSQL

● Hands-on experience with
NoSQL

databases such as
MongoDB, Redis

● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture

● Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

● Experience in high-growth, fast-paced startup environments is a plus

Preferred Skills:

● Exposure to fintech or digital lending platforms

● Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.)
