About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Archivist to support the documentation and archival management of the museum collection. The role is ideal for fresh graduates looking for hands-on experience in the heritage and archival sector.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in cataloguing and documenting objects.

· Organise physical and digital archival records.

· Prepare and update object files, condition notes and data entries.

· Assist in handling, packaging and organising archival material.

· Coordinate with conservation and curatorial teams for smooth workflow.

· Maintain confidentiality and ethical handling of information.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Museology / Archival Studies / History / Heritage Studies or relevant field.

· Freshers welcome to apply.

Preferred Requirements

· Internship / experience in documentation or archival work is an advantage.

· Pune-based candidates preferred.

Skills & Competencies

· Good written and communication skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.

· Basic computer proficiency (Excel / Google Sheets).

· Organised, disciplined and proactive.
