JOB DESCRIPTION SENIOR ARCHITECT year experience)

Candidate Requirements:

  1. To deliver requisite project documents/drawings for unhindered execution of projects from conceptualisation to handover.
  2. Receive/Formulate design studio requirements from the senior management and disburse to the team based on the prioritization of the work in terms of timelines arrived in consultation with the Team lead & Director.
  3. Ensure adoption of drawings and documentation standards, both digital and analog.
  4. Ensure coordination with other department heads and smooth operations within the organisation.
  5. Liaison with civic bodies/related consultants for timely approvals of the project essentials.
  6. Be familiar with the National Building Code & local building bye-laws and liaise with civic bodies/related consultants for timely approvals of the project essentials.
  7. Regular client/consultant interface to ensure smooth flow of work at site and office.
  8. Coordination with the Site Execution Team to enable smooth operations and enable Client Interface as and when required.
  9. To prepare 2D rendering of concept designs and prepare PowerPoint presentations.
  10. Review/Manage periodically the professional/disciplinary facets of the team to achieve productivity and report the same periodically to the Reporting Head.
  11. Ability to perform consistently under reasonable pressure

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Hold a Bachelors / Masters Degree in Architecture.
  2. At least 10 years experience in the field of Architectural consultancy.
  3. Good communication skills
  4. Solutions focused - working on an environment where readymade answers are not always available
  5. Excellent communicator with confident presentation skills
  6. A mature approach to flexibility/willingness to travel to construction sites and design team offices as required.
  7. Good working command over AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office suite, etc.
