Summary: The Travel Agent will be responsible for planning, organizing, and booking travel arrangements for clients. This includes handling flight reservations, hotel bookings, tour packages, transportation, and travel insurance while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and smooth travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests, and budget.
  • Research and recommend suitable travel options, destinations, and packages.
  • Book flights, hotels, transportation, and other travel services through appropriate systems and vendors.
  • Prepare and issue travel documents such as itineraries, tickets, and invoices.
  • Advise clients on travel regulations, visa requirements, travel insurance, and COVID/travel restrictions.
  • Handle amendments, cancellations, and customer inquiries efficiently.
  • Promote and upsell company travel packages, group tours, and seasonal offers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, and tour operators.
  • Keep updated with current travel trends, destination information, and industry developments.
  • Maintain accurate records of client transactions and financial details.
  • Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree or diploma.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in travel booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or equivalent).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
