Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Manager AI/ML to lead our growing Machine Learning and Generative AI team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI/ML applications, with a strong focus on LLMs, RAG pipelines, and GenAI solutions.

This role requires a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, software architecture, and team leadership. You will lead end-to-end project execution from concept to deployment — collaborating closely with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality AI-driven products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and productionalize ML/GenAI applications and models.
  • Fine-tune, personalize, and evaluate machine learning and LLM models to enhance performance.
  • Develop and optimize prompts for LLMs to generate accurate and context-aware responses.
  • Lead architecture design for scalable, reliable, and cost-effective Generative AI solutions including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and agentic workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to preprocess, clean, and transform datasets for model training and prompt optimization.
  • Build and deploy end-to-end ML pipelines on GCP or equivalent cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Implement best practices for data cleaning, feature engineering, model training, validation, and deployment.
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code for data processing, vector search, model evaluation, and inference serving.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 4+ ML/Data Science professionals to ensure project success and innovation.
  • Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and security standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience building secure, scalable, and performant applications.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and deploying ML/AI applications.
  • 2+ years of experience leading ML/Data Science teams.
  • Expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Vision AI, Conversational AI, Document Extraction, and Generative AI.
  • Strong experience with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG solutions, and model fine-tuning.
  • Proficiency in Python, NumPy, Pandas, and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, and LangChain.
  • Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Proven experience building and deploying ML models in production environments.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Good to Have:

  • Google Cloud Certified Professional Machine Learning Engineer or TensorFlow Certified Developer.
  • Experience with AutoML and Computer Vision techniques.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
