Job Summary

The
Performance Marketing Specialist (PPC)
will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid campaigns across
Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and other performance platforms
to drive high-quality leads for AIM's PGDM and MBA programs. The role demands a strong analytical mindset, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to deliver measurable ROI in terms of
Cost per Lead (CPL), Cost per Acquisition (CPA), and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
.

This is a
hands-on execution role
with a focus on precision targeting, funnel optimization, and continuous campaign improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Campaign Management

  • Plan, launch, and optimize PPC campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, Discovery) and Meta Ads.
  • Develop ad copies, creatives (in coordination with the design team), and audience targeting strategies.
  • Monitor daily campaign performance, adjusting bids, budgets, and targeting for maximum ROI.

2. Funnel Optimization

  • Optimize landing pages and ad flows in collaboration with the web and admissions teams.
  • Implement A/B testing for ads, creatives, and landing pages to maximize conversions.
  • Work closely with the admissions team to align lead quality with conversion goals.

3. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyze campaign metrics such as CTR, CPL, CPA, Quality Score, and ROAS.
  • Set up and maintain tracking through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Meta Pixel.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to management with insights and improvement strategies.

4. Budget & ROI Management

  • Manage daily/monthly ad budgets efficiently while maximizing ROI.
  • Forecast campaign outcomes and allocate spends across channels.
  • Ensure CPL stays within agreed benchmarks while maintaining lead quality.

5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on the latest trends in PPC, automation tools, and algorithm changes.
  • Explore new ad formats, remarketing strategies, and lookalike audience campaigns.
  • Benchmark AIM's campaigns against competitor B-Schools to maintain a performance edge.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Expertise in
    Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager
    , and PPC campaign execution.
  • Strong knowledge of
    conversion tracking, GTM, GA4, and Meta Pixel
    .
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Sheets for campaign data analysis.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Target-driven, detail-oriented, and agile in adapting to campaign needs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in PPC advertising (Google & Meta mandatory).
  • Google Ads and Meta Blueprint certifications preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving CPL and ROI targets in lead generation campaigns (education sector experience a plus).
