Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data management, advanced Excel functionalities, SQL querying, and data visualization tools. This role involves supporting business operations through the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and MIS systems to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • MIS Reporting: Develop and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
  • Dashboard Development: Design and implement interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to visualize data trends and insights.
  • SQL Queries: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to data collection and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a similar role.

Technical Skills

  • Excel: Advanced proficiency, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and VBA scripting.
  • SQL: Strong command of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Data Visualization Tools: Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for creating interactive dashboards.
  • Data Management: Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data governance practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to present data findings effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data handling and reporting.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis.
