Summary:

The Database Developer position will implement and maintain database solutions to support enterprise applications and services.  The ideal candidate will be able to work within a small technical team to analyze, understand and implement business requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, troubleshoot & optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and database scripts
  • Develop complex reports using SQL Server Reporting Services
  • Provide database related technical expertise to application development teams
  • Analyze applications, provide solutions for performance issues, solve complex problems
  • Provide support to QA department during both internal and external product testing
  • Perform developer testing ensuring delivery of accurate and reliable product delivery to QA
  • Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support database solutions via daily scrum meetings

POSITION REQUIREMENT:

Experience:

  • 7 years of experience in SQL Database Development

Knowledge:

  • Strong SQL knowledge developing queries, scripts, and stored procedures (T-SQL preferred; PL/SQL or equivalent acceptable)
  • Experience with database performance optimization techniques
  • Experience with SSRS, SSIS, ETL
  • Must have strong skills in data analysis, database modeling, query writing, and stored procedure development.
  • Working knowledge of AWS technologies: S3 , SSM, and DynamoDB are a plus
