Financial Analyst – Semiconductor

Role Overview:You will support financial modeling, investment analysis, business case development, and DPR preparation across semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, and advanced materials sectors. You'll work closely with consulting leads on strategic projects for government, EMS players, OEMs, and semiconductor fab/OSAT clients. KeyResponsibilities:Build detailed financial models (DCF, NPV, IRR, payback models) for semiconductor fabs, OSATs, ATMP units, EMS projects, component manufacturing units.

Develop cost structures, capital expenditure (CAPEX) plans, and operational expense (OPEX) models. Draft business plans, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and investment memos. Assist in preparing P&L projections, balance sheets, cash flow models.

Analyze PLI/DLI incentive schemes and government support frameworks. Conduct benchmarking studies: Global semiconductor cost structures, profitability trends, market sizing. Support transaction advisory (M&A, JVs, investment opportunities) analysis if needed.

Prepare investor decks, project presentations, and reports. Required Skills:

  • 2–4 years of experience in consulting, corporate finance, project finance, or financial modeling.
  • Prior exposure to semiconductor, EMS, electronics hardware, or capital-intensive industries (bonus if semiconductor-specific).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel modeling, PowerPoint, and financial analytics.
  • Exposure to PLI, DLI, SPECS, and EMS policies is highly preferred.
  • Degree: MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA / M.Com or equivalent.

Proposed Annual Compensation:
• ₹12–16 LPA (Fixed) + ~10% performance bonus
