FTO Formulations

JOB PURPOSE:

The position will cater to the increasing requests for patent check (Pre-screening/FTO/Landscape/Combination Portfolio) from different regions and will assist the team to perform thorough patent check for advancing projects that are bound by

strict timelines. There are number of projects and required manager level position to guide team and also responsible for the development of focused new portfolio.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Freedom to operate analysis

. Patent searches using various databases

• Preparation of patent landscape
• Infringement analysis of formulation/recipe proposed by R & D and review of critical patents.
• Pre-screening patent report
• Identify blocking patents
• Design IP strategy for blocking patents
• Identify patent filing opportunity
• Should be well experienced to handle team of 2-3 patent specialists

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Overall, 10-12 years of relevant experience and preferably 1-2 years experience of team management
• M.Pharmacy/M.Sc (Organic Chemistry) from a premier institute
• Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law & Practice (Preferred)
• Experience in patent database searches and ability to search relevant prior arts
• Sound patent & formulation knowledge
