Laboratory Technicians

• Conducting experiments: Planning, setting up, and carrying out experiments and trials
• Analyzing data: Recording, analyzing, and interpreting data from experiments
• Maintaining equipment: Cleaning, calibrating, and testing the sterility of equipment
• Preparing samples: Collecting, preparing, and testing samples
• Presenting results: Presenting results to senior staff and writing reports
• Keeping up with developments: Staying current with scientific and technical developments
• Supervising: Supervising staff and other laboratory users
• Risk assessments: Carrying out risk assessments
• Ordering and maintaining stock: Ordering and maintaining stock and resources
