About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer who will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines that power our AI-based analytics and dashboarding solutions. The candidate should have a strong foundation in data modeling, ETL workflows, and cloud-based data infrastructure. Youll work closely with analysts, AI engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data reliability, scalability, and performance across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to collect, clean, and process structured and unstructured data from multiple sources (e.g., SQL, APIs, CSV, cloud databases).
  • Implement efficient ETL/ELT workflows using modern data frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the AI/ML, BI, and Product teams to define data needs and ensure availability of high-quality datasets.
  • Develop and manage data models, schemas, and transformations for analytics use cases.
  • Optimize performance of queries, pipelines, and data stores for scalability and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure data quality, validation, and lineage tracking using QA or automated checks.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of data governance, documentation, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Support data ingestion from third-party marketing platforms, analytics APIs, or campaign data systems.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 24 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, PySpark preferred).
  • Experience with SQL and at least one cloud data warehouse (Databricks, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools or orchestration frameworks (Airflow, dbt, AWS Glue, etc.).
  • Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or data for LLM applications is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with data APIs, REST integrations, and data ingestion from SaaS tools.
  • Understanding of data modeling, normalization, and schema design.
  • Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience working in Agile or startup environments.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of data reliability across multiple projects.
