Job Summary:

The IT Applications Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and support of core business applications—especially Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Loan Management Systems (LMS), and other critical platforms used in the housing finance domain. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the technology supports strategic business goals and enhances operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of business applications, including implementation, upgrades, integration, and support.
  • Lead application projects for core systems such as LOS, LMS, CRM, collections, and digital platforms (mobile/web).
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools, applications, or systems to support housing finance operations.
  • Ensure applications meet regulatory and compliance requirements specific to housing finance and NBFCs.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, SLAs, and third-party integrations.
  • Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
  • Lead user training sessions and ensure high user adoption and satisfaction.
  • Work with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to ensure data security and application reliability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge bases.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6–10 years of experience in IT, with at least 3–5 years in managing applications in the BFSI or housing finance sector.
  • Hands-on experience with Loan Origination Systems (e.g., FinnOne, Newgen), LMS, and other NBFC tech stacks.
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements from NHB, RBI, or related bodies.
  • Strong knowledge of system integration (APIs, middleware), databases (SQL), and cloud-based application hosting.

Skills Required:

  • Project management and stakeholder communication.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Vendor and contract management.
  • Understanding of digital lending platforms, customer portals, and mobile apps.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft, Oracle, or Salesforce (if applicable).
  • ITIL Foundation/Agile/Scrum certification preferred
