About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our dynamic development team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework, with a strong focus on ASP.NET, C#, and efficient database operations (CRUD). Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using ASP.NET and C#.
  • Data Management: Architect and implement efficient and secure CRUD operations and data access layers using Entity Framework, ADO.NET, or Dapper, integrated with SQL Server or similar relational databases.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices, coding standards, and OOP principles.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers, participate in code reviews, and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues in a timely manner.
  • SDLC Participation: Actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 4–5 years of proven experience as a .NET Developer, preferably in a senior or lead role.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework or .NET Core.
  • In-depth knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, Web API, or ASP.NET Core.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing CRUD operations and optimizing SQL queries.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or (preferred).
  • Familiarity with software design patterns such as MVC and Repository Pattern.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
