Job Overview:

We are looking for an SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) Solution Architect who can design world-class omnichannel experiences to serve the needs of our globally distributed wholesale customers.

Should have technical depth and knowledge with eCommerce platforms, CRM Solutions, point-of-sale technologies, ERP and mobile and have the ability to liaison and influence capabilities roadmaps, as well as provide insights into where the industry is headed.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Partner with cross-functional IT organization and respective business partners across functional areas to develop the Hybris Platform and Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) to support the business and IT strategic plans
• Hands on experience in understanding complex eCommerce challenges / problems and provide innovative solutions & design to solve them. One should be able to pass on solutions / design to junior team members while motivating them in delivering complex deliverables
• Expertise in ecommerce tools & technologies such as SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), Java / J2EE, Spring, JavaScript, JSP & Servlets, Angular JS & Node JS, REST / SOAP APIs, JUnit, Angular, CSS & HTML 5
• Experience in performance tuning of SAP Hybris applications and writing high performance code
• Work with Project Managers to estimate solution efforts, collaborate on implementation plans, and roll out applications with cross-functional impact by working jointly with other team members to deliver complex application solutions.
• Experience in addressing quality / security issues in tools like SonarQube etc
• Work with UX/UI teams to create extensive B2B channel experience to meet business objectives while collaborating with engineers, QA and Operations teams to design and develop strategic and tactical solutions.
• Experience in SAP Commerce Cloud Upgrade
• Set and govern non-functional requirements for systems ensuring that all delivery teams meet the set standards around performance, security, code maintainability and supportability.
• Work with other Solution Architects (B2B) to ensure that application design principles are adhered to in the creation of any new features / systems.
• Work with the other architects from other areas for the strategic technical roadmaps and systems to support business capabilities.
• Serve as subject matter expert in assigned areas of responsibility
• Participate and contribute to design and code reviews for quality assurance.
• Share insights with the production support team and engage if required with critical Hybris incident management escalations.
• Communicate with senior IT and Business leaders concisely providing the link between business and technology.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in building testable, scalable, robust and efficient ecommerce applications using SAP Hybris & Java / J2EE technologies that are related to ecommerce platforms or similar applications
• Understanding of load balancing, authentication and fault tolerance through Tomcat application server, Apache webserver and F5 load balancer & CDN
• Experience in Application Performance Monitoring tools like AppDynamics and Dynatrace
• Minimum 3 or more implementations of Hybris modules – Search & Navigation, Account Management, Payment Integrations, Catalog / Content Management, SAP Integrations, Mobility

Experience in the following areas would be preferred

• Good working knowledge on integrations such as payment (Pay metrics), SAP, OpenText, web services, etc.
• Good knowledge and experience in continuous integration & continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline from scratch and familiarity of using tools like Jenkins, GitLab
• Good exposure on Agile & DevSecOps methodologies and is comfortable in using Jira & CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with usage of Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Cloud based development (using Azure)
• Familiarity with using SAP ECC or other ERP application
• Experience with Non-Hybris Commerce Platforms is also beneficial but not required.
• Experience with retail point of sale solutions is beneficial but not required.
• Experience with ERP solutions. Preference given to SAP.
• Experience working with CRM solutions. Preference given to PegaCRM.
• Experience deploying cloud solutions on AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Experience with Spring, Java stacks is useful.
• Ability to clearly write functional and technical specifications.
• Dynamic analytical, problem solving and project management abilities with proven systems knowledge and expertise
• Extremely strong customer service orientation and the ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast paced environment
