Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all duties of this position are carried out according to safe work practices, consistent with corporate policy
  • Proven experience in the use of a variety of commonly used application development concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Possesses some knowledge of general business processes
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Maintains a proficiency in several languages or applications in use by Sonoco
  • Follows Sonoco's Software Development lifecycle methodology and application development standards
  • Provides custom development for complex applications where required
  • Develops and reviews unit test plans and test data. Reviews and validates test scenarios and test scripts provided by the business analysts.
  • Documents all work according to standards and procedures. Keeps documentation current.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience with MuleSoft (RAML)
  • Development experience with APIs (ie: REST, SOAP, etc)
  • Experience with the following technologies: XML, JSON
  • DevOps experience
