
Apprentice – Commercial Initiatives Upstream

051. Data & Market Research:
- Gathering Data: Assisting with the collection of market data, including industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer demographics as per customer needs
- Prospecting: Researching and identifying potential leads that fit the company's ideal customer profile (ICP) for upstream business.
- Reporting: Helping to compile and format data for presentations and reports for senior team members.
2. Supporting Marketing & Lead Generation:
- Content Support: Assisting with the creation and distribution of marketing materials to address client needs in Upstream sector
- Campaign Assistance: Supporting the execution of marketing campaigns for upstream clients
- Lead Nurturing: Helping to follow up with leads through email or other channels to nurture them and move them down the sales funnel.
3. Administrative & Operational Tasks:
- CRM Management: Maintaining and updating customer relationship management (CRM) systems (e.g., Salesforce) with accurate lead and customer information.
- Meeting Preparation: Preparing materials and taking notes for internal and external meetings.
- Workflow Optimization: Assisting in identifying and documenting ways to improve team processes and workflows.
4. Continuous Learning & Skill Development:
- On-the-Job Training: Actively seeking out opportunities to learn from more experienced colleagues.
- Product Knowledge: Developing a deep understanding of the company's SaaS product, its features, and its value proposition.
- Industry Knowledge: Staying current on industry trends and best practices in B2B SaaS, marketing, and sales.
Our commercial segment strategy works closely with our product segment strategy so you will also be responsible for supporting that liaison. For our largest clients, the Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for supporting the commercial lead for this in tracking the progress against key objectives, including the development of client plans, expanding our coverage of key personas, the growth of revenue and opportunities across divisions.

What We're Looking For
Highly motivated self-starter with good analytical skills, initiative, and an ability to work independently.
Aptitude: A strong desire to learn and a keen interest in the business and commercial aspects of the Upstream Oil & Gas industry, including a baseline understanding of key themes, regulatory drivers, and trends.
Excellent organization skills, structured approach to planning, note taking and summarizing information.
Strong MS Office skills as there will be a large reliance on processing and presenting information on Excel and Powerpoint.
Appetite to learn from a wide variety of sustainability experts, which would also entail the flexibility to work across time zones globally.
Ability to condense high volumes of data into digestible formats in an articulate way.
Basic Qualifications
Non-tech fresh graduates/postgraduates i.e. Bachelor or Master in Marketing in Petroleum specifically from Upstream perspective
Knowledge of different industries, departments, and key personas.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Willing to work in Hybrid work environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Well versed with Web Research and Microsoft Office.
Ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems.
Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
Ability to interact with many levels and to face and deal with issues in a mature and professional manner.
Good analytical and logical reasoning skills with Positive attitude towards work
Comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness.
