Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate weighbridge equipment to weigh incoming and outgoing goods accurately.
  • Verify material details, including type, quantity, and quality as per documentation.
  • Coordinate with transporters, warehouse, and production teams for smooth logistics.
  • Record weights and maintain daily logs and reports.
  • Inspect weighbridge equipment regularly and ensure it is calibrated correctly.
  • Ensure proper documentation of material receipts and dispatches.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness around the weighbridge area.
  • Assist in inventory tracking and reporting discrepancies if any.
  • Communicate with management regarding issues or irregularities in weighing processes.
  • Support audits and inspections by providing accurate records.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a Weighbridge Operator or similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of weighing equipment and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Good numerical and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in shifts and handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Attention to detail and integrity in reporting data.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Work Environment:

  • Industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Interaction with drivers, logistics staff, and warehouse teams.
  • Shift rotations may apply.
