Overview

PENNEP is seeking an experienced Content Writer to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in blog writing, website content, and guest posts. The candidate will be responsible to creating engaging and informative content that resonates with our target audience and drives organic traffic to our platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality, engaging, and SEO-friendly blog articles, website content, and guest posts that align with our brand voice, target audience, and SEO best practices.
  • Conduct in-depth research to gather information, statistics, and insights relevant to the assigned topics and industry trends.
  • Craft engaging and persuasive content that captivates readers, communicates key messages, and promotes desired actions.
  • Optimize content for search engines by incorporating relevant keywords, meta tags, and other SEO techniques to improve organic visibility and search rankings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies, brainstorm topic ideas, and align content initiatives with overall marketing goals.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, spelling, and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in blog writing, website content, and guest posting.
  • Conduct periodic content audits, analyse content performance metrics, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and other team members to enhance content through visuals, infographics, and multimedia elements.
  • Research and identify opportunities for guest posting on relevant websites, establish relationships with industry influencers, and contribute high-quality guest posts to drive brand visibility and expand our audience reach.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2 years of work experience as a Content Writer, specifically with a strong focus on blog writing, website content, and guest posts.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft compelling and error-free content.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for optimising content for search engines.
  • Strong research skills to gather and synthesize information from various sources and present it in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to write for different platforms and adapt writing style to fit the target audience and platform requirements.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Understanding of content marketing strategies and the ability to align content with marketing goals and target audience preferences.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to use Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

Education

A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
