Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Palo Alto Networks Security Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Palo Alto firewall solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise in network security, firewall policy management, and secure connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls.
  • Design and implement firewall policies, NAT rules, VPN tunnels, and SSL decryption.
  • Manage Panorama for centralized firewall administration and policy enforcement.
  • Perform troubleshooting, monitoring, and log analysis to ensure network security and availability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to review and implement security best practices.
  • Maintain documentation related to firewall configurations, network topology, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (PA-Series or VM-Series).
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing security policies, zones, and interfaces.
  • Experience with VPN technologies, including IPsec and Global Protect.
  • Familiarity with Panorama and URL filtering functionalities.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, and routing protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA) or Engineer (PCNSE).
  • Experience with public cloud firewall integrations (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Working knowledge of security monitoring tools and basic scripting is an advantage.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
