Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior 2D CAD Designer to join our team in Navi Mumbai, India. In this role, you will support our engineering and design projects by creating accurate and efficient 2D CAD drawings.

  • Create and modify 2D CAD drawings using industry-standard software
  • Interpret and translate engineering sketches and specifications into detailed CAD drawings
  • Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project requirements, and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with engineers and senior designers to understand project needs and implement design changes
  • Maintain organized digital files and documentation for all projects
  • Assist in creating and updating technical documentation and drawing libraries
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings
  • Support the team in meeting project deadlines and deliverables
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or diploma in CAD, drafting, or a related field
  • Proficiency in 2D CAD software, such as AutoCAD or DraftSight
  • Strong knowledge of drafting standards and techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • 0-2 years of experience in CAD drafting (entry-level candidates are welcome to apply)
  • CAD certification is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with architectural, mechanical, or civil engineering drawings is a plus
