Job Title: Cutting Operator – Garment Factory

Location: Bhilwara, Rajasthan

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Cutting Operator to join our garment manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for laying, marking, and cutting fabric according to production requirements, while maintaining accuracy, minimising waste, and ensuring quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay and spread fabrics according to specifications.
• Mark patterns and cut fabrics accurately as per design and size requirements.
• Operate manual and/or automatic cutting machines safely and efficiently.
• Ensure fabric utilisation is maximised and wastage is minimised.
• Inspect fabric before and after cutting to ensure there are no defects.
• Maintain records of fabric used, patterns, and cut quantities.
• Follow production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with pattern makers and production supervisors for any changes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cutting operator or in a similar role in a garment factory.
• Knowledge of fabric types, grain, shrinkage, and garment construction.
• Ability to read and understand patterns, markers, and production sheets.
• Familiarity with cutting machines (straight knife, band knife, round knife, die-cut, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Basic record-keeping and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automated cutting machine.
• Basic knowledge of fabric quality inspection.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹7, ₹20,000.00 per month
