Job Title: Receptionist

Department: Front Office / Administration

Reports To: Office In charge

Job Summary

The Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk, welcoming visitors, handling phone calls, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily office operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and clients in a polite and professional manner
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Provide accurate information to visitors and callers
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, courier, and deliveries
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
  • Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
  • Maintain visitor records and office logs
  • Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and printing
  • Assist other departments with general office support when required
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email handling)
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or front desk staff preferred
  • Knowledge of office equipment and procedures is an advantage
