Role Overview:

Big Data Engineer responsible for analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing Big Data Applications (API & Batch), along with managing and mitigating incidents.

Experience: 4–7 Years | Employment Type: Full-time (FTE)hybrid

Required Qualifications:

4–7 years of experience in analysis, coding, implementation, and testing of Big Data Applications (API & Batch) on AWS Cloud using Java/Scala/Kotlin, Cassandra, Python, Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, MapReduce.

Strong hands-on coding experience in Scala, PySpark, and Java for REST API and SOAP web services.

Proficient in AWS (Batch & API microservices) using EMR, EC2, ECS, S3, Airflow, Step Functions, API Gateway.

Skilled in Batch Application performance tuning (Spark/Hadoop/EMR, Java, Python).

Solid Linux experience (Shell scripting/Python).

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to DevOps tools: GIT, GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Artifactory, AWS CodeCommit, CloudFormation).

Key Skills:

PySpark | Scala / Java | AWS | Jenkins
