Title: Accountant Location: F383, M.G. Road UPSIDC Industrial Area, Uttar Pradesh Department: Accounting/Finance Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices and the ability to manage financial records accurately. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets. - Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. - Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies. - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. - Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. - Conduct regular audits to ensure financial integrity and compliance. - Prepare and file tax returns and ensure timely payment of taxes. - Support month-end and year-end close processes. - Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. - Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally). - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: - Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus. - Experience with financial analysis and reporting. - Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
