Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IoT & Sensor Testing Engineer who is passionate about embedded systems, hardware–software integration, and real-world IoT environments. This internship offers hands-on experience with advanced IoT devices (ANPR Cameras, Spot Sensors, FASTag Readers, Controllers, etc.), focusing on testing, validation, and reliability in smart parking solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Test and validate IoT devices (ANPR Cameras, Sensors, RFID Readers, Boom Barriers, etc.) in real-world scenarios.
• Perform functional testing of sensors and controllers under normal and failure conditions.
• Assist in developing automated test scripts for repetitive device checks.
• Monitor device communication to the middleware for correctness and latency.
• Simulate failure scenarios (hardware disconnect, network outage) and document system behavior.
• Ensure proper data transmission from sensors to middleware and eventually the cloud.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve device firmware stability and interoperability.
• Support testing of FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air) updates and rollback mechanisms.
• Document test cases, procedures, and findings in a structured format.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to support issue resolution.
• Contribute to improving test frameworks, processes, and documentation.

Preferred Background

We're especially keen to connect with students or recent graduates from top design institutes such as:

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 0-2 years experience
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Basic understanding of IoT concepts, embedded systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, Modbus, CoAP, etc.)
• Exposure to scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting) for automation is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to real-world projects.
• Candidates from Delhi NCR will be preferred.

Modus-Operandi:

• Duration: 3-month internship/Full Time
• Career Path: Strong performers may be offered a full-time role upon successful completion
• Location: Work from Office (Noida), a task completion-based approach
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, followed with 2-hour weekly review on Saturdays
• Collaboration: Weekly team meet-up for better synergy
