Position Purpose

Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Storage Administrator – AVP and above role to lead our storage infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing large-scale storage systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and excellent communication. We preferred candidate with experience in BFSI sector supporting region across the Global.
Key Responsibilities

• Storage Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage storage systems (SAN, NAS, object storage) for large-scale data centers.
• Leadership: Lead a team of storage administrators, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
• Capacity Planning: Plan and manage storage capacity to meet business requirements, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Data Protection: Implement and manage data protection strategies, including backup, replication, and disaster recovery.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure storage systems comply with security and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., server, network, application) to ensure seamless integration.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex storage issues, collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

Requirements

• Experience: 13+ years of experience in storage administration, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in storage technologies (e.g., EMC, NetApp, Pure) and data protection solutions.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., EMC/NetApp) preferred.
• Leadership: Proven leadership and management experience.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Banking and financial sector companies, working users more than 20 K would be better

• High skills on SAN Storage technologies (VMAX/PMAX, Pure Storage, Brocade).
• High skills on NAS Storage technologies (NetApp, VNX).
• Skills on S3, object-based storage (IBM Clever safe or ECS).
• Skills on EMC Unity.
• Overall Storage Experience 15+ years
• Team and collaborative mind-set to develop and deliver appropriate solutions skills.
• Experience of delivering strategic priorities within strict timelines.
• Customer service-oriented skills.
• Capacity to learn new technologies in an autonomous way.

Contributing Responsibilities

• Scripting knowledge on Python / Bash / PowerShell, code versioning tools and CD/CI

Desirable

• Big data knowledge: ELK and Distributed workload.
• Stateful Container and Kubernetes knowledge.
