We are looking for a detail-oriented
Account Administrator
to manage accounting operations, statutory compliances, and day-to-day financial administration. The role requires strong knowledge of
TDS return filing, Professional Tax, Provident Fund, ESIC, GST
, and other compliance matters, along with general accounting and office support responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Record daily accounting entries, ledgers, invoicing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Manage purchase and sales ledgers, credit control, and bank reconciliations.
- Support monthly/annual closing and preparation of financial statements.
2. Statutory Compliance
- Handle
TDS deduction, deposit, and return filing
. - Manage
Professional Tax (PT) compliance and filings
. - Ensure accurate and timely
PF & ESIC contributions and return filings
. - Assist in preparation and filing of
GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns)
. - Support audit requirements and statutory submissions on time.
3. Payroll & Employee Compliance
- Assist in payroll processing, including statutory deductions (TDS, PF, PT, and ESIC).
- Maintain attendance, leave records in HRMS, and ensure compliance with policies.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with daily attendance, including check-in/check-out records.
- Review and track timesheets, flagging missed entries and ensuring timely submission.
- Process and maintain approvals for WFH requests, leave requests, Helpdesk tickets management and relevant compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of attendance, leave balances, and other reports.
4. Administrative & Office Support
- Assist with office documentation, correspondence, and vendor management.
- Coordinate procurement of supplies and maintain inventory records.
- Support Helpdesk and approval processes (leave, WFH, tickets, etc.).
5. Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare MIS reports for management review.
- Provide insights on cost optimization and financial trends.
- Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of
Indian statutory compliances
: TDS, PT, PF, ESIC, GST. - Proficiency in
Tally ERP
and advanced
MS Excel
(pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial analysis). - Worked on HRMS for advance data analysis and report generation (DarwinBox HRMS added advantage)
- Bachelors / Master's degree in
Accounting, Commerce, or Finance
(MBA preferred). - Good communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
