Lead Data EngineerWe provide softwareproduct development services to overseas clients and this positionis to be part of the dedicated team which provides software product development to Toorak Capital Partners from Mortgage Finance Industry. New York Business. RESPONSIBILITIESYou have consistently high standards, your passion for quality is inherent in everything. Well versed with GCP/AWS/AZURE baseddata warehouse and data engineering experience.

You evangelize an extremely high standard of code quality,system reliability, and performance. You have a proven track record coding with at least one programming language (Python, SQL) You're skilled in data modeling & data migration protocols. Experience in data integration (ETL/ELT) development usingmultiple frameworks (e.g., PySpark, SparkSQL,Airbyte,DBT).

Experience building and maintaining data pipelines supporting a variety of integration patterns (batch, replication/CDC, event streaming) and data lake/warehouse in production environments. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEOverall 8 years of experience. At least 4 years of AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud and Data Lake a must.

Exposure in implementing AWS/Azure/GCP services to build delta lake and data pipelines. Excellent programming skillsin Python, PySpark,SQLExperience with Database systemssuch as PostgreSQL, Redshift ,BigQuery and snowflake databaseGood understanding of Data Warehousing ConceptsExperience in data governance and lineage is an addedbenefit.
