Job Profile: Account Executive

Savix IT Solutions Pvt Limited, Thrissur Location

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our finance team at Savix IT Solutions Pvt Limited in Thrissur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Tally knowledge is mandatory.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Software Expertise (MUST): Mandatory and strong working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime for all core accounting functions.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Core Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including processing sales invoices, purchase bills, receipts, and payments using Tally.
  • Reconciliation: Perform daily/weekly bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Invoicing and Collections: Generate and manage customer invoices, track accounts receivable, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Accounts Payable: Process vendor payments, manage supplier ledgers, and handle expense reports.
  • Statutory Compliance: Assist in the preparation and accurate filing of GST returns and other essential tax compliance documents.
  • Reporting: Prepare basic financial summaries, statements, and reports as required by management.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records within the Tally system (if applicable).

Skills and Competencies

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (English and Malayalam).
