Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise production activities in heavy fabrication.
  • Ensure daily production targets are achieved with optimum utilization of resources.
  • Monitor and improve productivity, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain strict adherence to safety standards.
  • Work closely with design, quality, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective & preventive actions.
  • Maintain documentation for production reports, process control, and ISO/quality audits.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in heavy fabrication / sheet metal / structural fabrication industry.
  • Hands-on knowledge of welding, machining, material handling, and assembly processes.
  • Familiar with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
