The Team:

Risk & Valuations Services (RVS) is a business line within S&P Globals Market Intelligence division. RVS powers global markets by bringing together differentiated data, valuations, analytics and deep market expertise to help our customers stay ahead of the competition, pinpoint risk exposures, price assets, and create transparency to drive strategic decisions in an unpredictable market environment.

The Strategic Analytics and Insights Lead will join RVSs Growth team within the Growth, Business Development, and Operations function. This team accelerates near-term growth by identifying, enabling, and driving synergy opportunities as well as segment, geographic, and corporates strategies, GTM activities, and other critical initiatives.

Responsibilities and Impact:

Commercial and financial data analysis

  • Find the story in our data: Derive and drive actionable insights through data analysis to accelerate growth, including but not limited to whitespace prioritization, account planning, pricing, licensing, and regional insights. Analysis will provide clear opportunities for our account management and sales teams.

Drive accountability and performance of key initiatives, including but not limited to

  • Ideation to execution of compelling cross-sells and other compelling commercial opportunities in partnership with the revenue and business teams.
  • Collaboration across business lines to streamline and accelerate cross-sell success.
  • Reporting and transparency to senior leaders through performance insights, risk escalation and mitigation, and other standard programmatic practices.

  • Partner with the divisional revenue operations team to identify and drive mutually beneficial activities to ensure best practices and growth opportunities are shared and executed at scale.

What Were Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Lead operationalization of cross-RVS revenue growth initiatives
  • Partner with Revenue/Commercial and Business Development leaders to drive growth initiatives and opportunities that accelerate revenue
  • Drive for accountability, execution, and transparency for cross-product projects and that span a variety of team members, functions, and stakeholders
  • Assess client support and business development processes, identify opportunities for efficiencies, implement improvements to existing processes and new processes where there are gaps
  • The ideal candidate will have both data analytics and senior stakeholder management expertise, as well as experience partnering with Revenue/Commercial organizations and cross-functional teams in a complex cross-product environment.
