Senior Associate-Treasury Accounting

About the role
I support the manager financial accounting with the transactional General Ledger ( Sub-ledger close, Reconciliation with sub-ledgers and accounting for transaction as per Tesco accounting policy).

You will be responsible for
Prepare Bank reconciliation and prepare valuation

• Prepare Control summary and provide necessary commentary

• Preparation of the accounting reconciliation in line with best practices requirement and as per the risk assessment methodology

• Prepare hedge effectiveness test

• Prepare/Post all month end journals approved from Treasury UK

• Highlighting all accounting issues in the Balance sheet reconciliation and seek possible solution

• Any additional process that would be transitioned to TBS in future.

• Adherence to timeline and understand the importance accuracy to avoid surprise scenario.

• Identify operational improvements and finding solutions by applying CI tools and technique

• Any other work requested by senior management in TBS and UK managing Treasury.

You will need

• Experience in Finance Domain
• Balance sheet reconciliation and P&L concept
• Knowledge of ERP / Other ERP application
• Adv Excel
• Adv Logical Reasoning
• Adv Numeracy Skills
• Basic accounting principles,
• IT Tool Acumen- Ability to Understand & Problem solving Good Communication Skill
• Ability to work in developing role and structure
